TRIP ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival at Moscow

The Mother of Russia, is a genuine Russian city with the Kremlin and its onion domed cathedrals. The dramatic changes over the last decade have made the city to one of the most dynamic metropolis in the world. Transfer to Hotel, en route, contemplate the tumultuous and captivating history of an ancient city that oozes grandeur, and the indomitable spirit of the Russian nation which saw it send the first man to outer space. Straddling the Moskva River, this city is the country's political, economic, religious and financial hub - and your home for the next three nights.

Day 2 – Moscow city tour, Red Square & Kremlin Grounds Guided Tour

Your first day in Moscow you will have a guided tour of the major cultural and historical sites of the city. This morning you will visit Red Square, arguably one of the most famous squares in the world. It got its name from the Russian word for "red", which many centuries ago meant "beautiful". You will see the brightly-domed St Basil's Cathedral, the worldrenowned Lenin Mausoleum (outside), the expansive facade of the GUM department store, Kazan Cathedral (outside) and the Kremlin towers. You will discover the interior of the Kremlin - the former residence of the Tsars and now the residence of the Russian President. You will also visit the Kremlin’s beautiful orthodox cathedrals. Cathedral Square still retains the aura of early Tsarist Russia, where the spirits of Ivan the Terrible, Boris Godunov and the early Romanovs loom large. We visit the Moscow State University on Lenin Hill, where there are outstanding views over Moscow. On the way down, we pass through the Memorial Complex at Poklonnaya Hill and Victory Park, where the impressive Triumphal Arch is sited. Then it's back to the city streets, taking in Kutuzov Avenue, New Arbat, Boulevard Ring and Pushkin Square, before ending up at Tverskaya Street.

Day 3 – Underground Metro Guided Tour

Morning after breakfast, Guided tour of Moscow’s Underground – explore one of the masterpieces of the Soviet era created in the Socialist Realism style. The Moscow Metro, with its stations decorated with marble, mosaics, stainedglass panels and bronze sculptures, looks more like a vast art museum. It was one of the proudest achievements of the Soviet era and it still beats many other European underground systems with its ultra-reliable service.

Day 4 – High Speed Train to Saint Petersburg, SPB City tour

This morning after breakfast, we will take train to Saint Petersburg. It will take 4 hrs to reach.Check in and then go for Saint Petersburg City tour.

St. Petersburg is an amazing city. Its imperial palaces and museums enjoy worldwide fame, while the Neva River and the many canals have deservedly given the city the title of Venice of the North. During the morning sightseeing tour we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: the Peter-Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral (entrance included), the Church of the Bleeding Savior, the Nevsky Convent and much more.

Day 5 – Tsarskoye Selo, the Catherine Palace and Amber Room [Pushkin]

After breakfast, this morning you will be taken to Tsarskoye Seloto see the magnificent Catherine Palace and its legendary Amber Room. A gift by Peter the Great to his wife Catherine I, the Catherine Palace owes its awesome grandeur to their daughter, Empress Elizabeth, who chose Tsarskoe Selo as her chief summer residence. The Palace is an astonishing example of Baroque architecture with its striking interiors that are incredibly spectacular. The Catherine Palace is known for its legendary, unique Amber Room that was looted during World War II, and completely and painstakingly recreated as recently as 2003 – a process that took over 20 years and cost more than $12 million.

Late Night go for Draw Bridge Boat Cruise - Explore the central district of St. Peterburg made up of an incredible network of canals and rivers, over which many grand drawbridges are spanned. Discover the architecture history of these incredible constructions, built by highly skilled engineers and designers. Their names and history are of a great value to the entire city and cannot exist separately from it.

Learn about many of the 342 unique bridges with audioguide commentary during this informative tour. Find out about how during the reign of Peter I, bridge construction in the city was forbidden and citizens were forced to travel on the rivers by boat. Hear the surprising history of the use of Venetian gondolas as public transport in the 18th-century. Learn about how, as several centuries have passed, durable and powerful bridges were since constructed from wood and stone. Pass under the first bridge of the city, the Liteny drawbridge, built in 1879, to connect the Vyborg side of the city. Discover today why bridges are considered to be the real pride of the city, decorating the riverbanks. See all of the main drawbridges on the River Neva which exist today, taking a special route underneath them toward the TV Tower and back. Admire spectacular views of the city lights by night as you soak up the incredible architecture and architecture of this historic city.

Day 6 – FREE DAY AT Saint Petersburg and Transfer to Almaty

Post Breakfast. We can Opt for Hermitage Art Museum Tour or see Russia in 1hrs at The Grand market Rossiya or Vodka Museum or Hygiene Museum or Aerolift Air Balloons.

Day 7 – Arrival at Almaty, Later Big Lake Mountain Tour

Arrival at Early morning, Checkin to Hotel Immediately as we have payed for Early Check in.

Post check in and breakfast we would go for City tour of Almaty.
This day trip to Big Almaty Lake is the convenient way to get out into the nature of Kazakhstan from Almaty city. Enjoy spectacular views of the high-altitude lake surrounded by forests, and a traditional Kazakh eagle hunting show. Make new friends. This is a hassle-free trip as national park fees and transportation are all taken care of for you.
The tour starts from the Meeting point or from your hotel. After you meet your guide and board a comfortable vehicle, you will be taken from the city center to its south-western part. Passing by the city's newest Al-Farabi Avenue you will observe the ski jumping complex “Sunkar”, park of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and listen to the stories of your guide about Almaty city and its history. After 40 minutes of driving in the gorge through the winding mountain paved road with breathtaking views, you will see the the glorious panorama of the Big Almaty Lake, color of which is always different depending on the weather. You will have around an hour to admire the scenery of the lake and make a walk on the banks of the lake half-way to the water surface which is about 300 meters down from the road. Descend to the lake is stony and covered with seasonal shrubs and herbs so comfortable shoes or boots will make the walking more enjoyable. On the way back to the town you will visit the Falcon Farm, where you will enjoy a spectacular show with specially trained hawks, falcons and eagles - hunting with them is one of the most unique features of the Kazakh way of life. Show is open-air and takes around 30-40 minutes. After visiting the Falcon Farm you will have your ride back to the original Meeting point or to your hotel.

Day 8- Almaty City Tour & Transfer to Airport

THE BEST OF ALMATY PRIVATE TOUR WITH MEDEO GORGE - After meeting the guide at your hotel, your will start the tour with a ride to the oldest of Almaty parks - Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, where one of the most beautiful wooden building in the world - Zenkov Cathedral is located. In the park you will also visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, listen to the stories of the guide and admire the beauty of the Museum of Musical Instruments. A leisurely walk under the crowns of old trees will take about 40 minutes.Then, after the park, you will get to the Medeo Gorge (1690 meters above sea level), well known due to the highest mountain skating rink in the world and the dam, protecting the city from dangerous mudflow. Brief walk around with a chance to take your mountain-view pictures and breath the fresh pine-tree air, then driving back to the downtown. On the way you will be told an interesting story why Almaty is actually called «the Apple city».Next destination of the tour is the Kok-Tobe hill where the tallest TV tower in the world is located (if to count from the sea level) and where you will get by the picturesque winding mountain road on the park eco-cars. In Kok-Tobe Park you can stroll along the winding paths of the park, admire the magnificent panorama of the city from the special observation deck, throw a coin in the "apple" fountain and visit the shop of national souvenirs. The tour ends with the short ride from the top of the hill to the center of the city by the famous Almaty cableway and the dropping you off at your hotel. Later transfer to Airport and BYE BYE TO ALMATY.
